We are here to support you. We will help you make the most of your time at the International Study Centre and The University of Strathclyde. You will find a range of services, advice and assistance to ensure you succeed and enjoy a fantastic student experience.

The Information & Advice Team

Get advice, guidance and information on any issue associated with student life. This team specialises in welfare, academic, immigration and personal issues.

The Student Financial Support Team

Get in touch with the Student Financial Support Team if you run into financial difficulties during your studies.

The Chaplaincy Team

Socialise, get support and engage in spiritual reflection or personal prayer. The Chaplaincy Team welcomes all students and staff, from all faiths and none.

The Disability Service

Get information, advice and assistance, whether you are applying to Strathclyde or you are already a student here.

The Student Counselling Service

Get help to deal with personal or emotional difficulties which are affecting your studies. The service is free and confidential.

The Student Health Service

Get confidential advice from the University service which promotes positive health and well-being.

The Careers Service

Get advice from Strathclyde's Careers Service. It ranks in the UK top four, according to a UK-wide survey of higher education institutions. The team will help you with job searches, postgraduate study applications, CV preparation and interview techniques. They will also help you to identify career paths to suit your qualifications, experience, skills and personality.

Study Skills Service

Enhance your performance across all academic disciplines with the support of the Study Skills Service. They will help you with organising your studies, note-taking, presenting and exam preparation. Your own personal Study Adviser will be able to answer questions about your courses, studying or exams.

English language support

Get free class tuition of up to four hours per week to improve your English language skills. This support is available to international students in a full-time degree programme.
