Student stories
Meet our students
Living in Glasgow you get the benefits of being in a city so a lot of things are available to you but there are not too many crowds. I love shopping here.

Strathclyde has a Careers Service and they're connected to industry players. You just work towards your grades and your schoolwork with the awareness that this is translating to some kind of job placement or prospect with an employer.
Michael from Nigeria

At the International Study Centre they provided us with trips at the weekends. For example, I love the island of Skye and Arran. It’s really good because when we first come here, we don’t know where to go in Scotland.
Maha from Saudi Arabia

Progressed to BA (Hons) Hospitality & Tourism Management
I chose Electronics and Electrical Engineering because it has this really cool combination of coding and computing and physics and electronics. You get to learn about physics and you get to practise it in your electronics degree where I deal with different circuits. It really opens up a lot of different jobs after university.
Mona from Egypt

Progressed to BEng (Hons) Electronic & Electrical Engineering
The International Study Centre was really supportive because it helped us to fit in the university life, especially when it comes to preparing for the bulk of the academic work. When I transited to the University I wouldn't find any trouble finishing an assignment.
