International Study Centre students find themselves well prepared to progress to university life at the University of Strathclyde. In fact, 92% of International Study Centre students who completed their course went offered a place to study at the University of Strathclyde in 2017.
In the past one of those successful progressed students was Estelle from Singapore, who completed the Undergraduate Foundation Programme in Business and Social Studies before progressing to a BA(Hons) degree in Business Enterprise.
Discussing her experience, she said, “My time at the International Study Centre was definitely more intensive than I thought it would be. Looking back at when I first entered the University, I was pretty shocked at how relaxed it was compared to the International Study Centre. It’s a good training ground for you to prepare for university as you feel almost over-prepared. It’s quite small classes in the International Study Centre, which was really good because you get more time with your tutor if you have questions.”
Time spent at the International Study Centre provides students with a foundation that prepares them for life at university and beyond. Confidence is built while skills are obtained.
