Entry requirements

To join us you will need to meet our minimum entry requirements

These differ for each programme. If you have any doubts about whether you meet these requirements, contact us. We can also help if you cannot find your qualification or country on the list.

We understand you may face disruption in receiving your final academic results and English language test in 2020. Whilst our courses are online, we have introduced the following changes so that you can start your journey and we can get you to where you want to be.

For academic results we will take in to account your individual circumstances when assessing academic achievement. For further information about this, please contact your Student Enrolment Advisor or make an online enquiry, or contact your local agent.

For English language tests, we have expanded the list of English tests we will accept for entry to programmes at University of Strathclyde International Study Centre. Find out more here.

Please note that when teaching transitions from online to on-campus delivery, you will need to obtain a UKVI Secure English Language Test (SELT) for visa purposes before you can travel to the UK to continue your studies.

The English language entry requirements stated are for information regarding entry to the course. If you are applying to study in the UK under the Tier 4 student route it may be necessary for you to submit a Secure English Language Test (SELT) as part of your visa application. If you don’t have a current IELTS grade, you may still apply to the International Study Centre. Please contact us to find out about alternative assessment of your English Language level.

Find out more about valid test providers and approved test centre locations for tests taken on or after 6 April 2015. To find out if you are exempt from the SELT requirement and to find out about acceptable English language tests please contact us.
