
Scholarships for international students
Scholarships worth up to £13,000
If you are a self-funded student, you may be eligible for a joint scholarship for your pathway programme with us at the International Study Centre and your degree study at the University of Strathclyde.
The scholarship represents up to £2,500 for your pathway programme and up to £5,000 for every year of degree study at the University of Strathclyde.
Who can apply?
You can apply for one of our scholarships for international students if you’re a self-funded student domiciled in one of the regions: South Asia, South East Asia, Africa, Levant & North Africa or South America, and studying one of the following programmes:
- Undergraduate Foundation Programme: up to £13,000 (four years in total including the pathway programme)
- International Year Two Business: up to £8,500 (three years in total including the pathway programme)
- International Year Two Civil Engineering: up to £6,500 (three years in total including the pathway programme)
- Postgraduate pathway programmes: up to £7,500 (two years in total including the pathway programme)
How do I get the International Study Centre scholarship?
The International Study Centre's scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. You must request the scholarship when applying for your pathway programme*.
How are scholarships awarded by the University?
Once you progress from the International Study Centre, the University of Strathclyde will award scholarships for each academic year upon achieving 60%.
